The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Burundi, invites interested and eligible bidders to purchase a used vehicle through a sealed bid process.

Eligibility and Requirements
Interested bidders must submit:
- A sealed financial offer in Burundian Francs (BIF)
- Copy of National ID or Passport (for individuals)
- Copy of Certificate of Registration / NIF (for companies)
- Proof of payment of a refundable bid security deposit, a Certified Check of 5,000,000 BIF, deposited along with the required documents.

Award & Payment
- The successful bidder will pay the full amount (inclusive of the security deposit) within 5–10 working days.
- The successful bidder will be required to pay applicable duty/taxes to OBR within 10 working days.
- The vehicle must be collected within 14 days after payment, and by submitting proof of payment of applicable duty/taxes.
- All transfer and registration costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
